Step One: Make sure your Links Toolbar is enabled.

• Select View > Toolbars and make sure the "Links" option is checked.
• Select View > Toolbars again and make sure the "Lock the Toolbars" option is not checked.

Note: sometimes the Links toolbar will be positioned to the far right of your Internet Explorer window. After making it available, you might need to drag or double click on the handle at the left of the Link toolbar to re-position so that the Scholar button is visible.

Step Two: Install the Scholar Bookmarklet in your Links Toolbar

• Right click on one of the Bookmarklet links above, and choose Add to Favorites. (If Internet Explorer says the bookmarklet you are adding might not be safe, just click Yes to continue. You can trust us!)
  • You can choose either of the two versions of the bookmarklet. One version opens the Add Bookmark form in a pop-up window. The second version opens the Add Bookmark form in the current window (useful if you have pop-up blocking enabled).
• In the "Add a Favorite" dialog box, click Create In to show a list of your Favorites folders. (If the list is already displayed, you can skip this step.)
• From the list of Favorites folders for "Create In" select the "Links" folder.
• Click the "OK" button.

Step Two: Install the Scholar Bookmarklet in your Bookmarks Toolbar

• Right click on one of the Bookmarklet links above, drag it to your Bookmarks Toolbar, and drop it there.

Note: On some versions of Mozilla Firefox, the Pop-up Bookmarklet may pop under the active window instead. We recommend using the Regular Bookmarklet with Firefox.

Step One: Make sure your Bookmarks Bar is enabled.

• Select View > Show Bookmarks Bar
  • If the View menu says "Hide Bookmarks Bar" instead of "Show Bookmarks Bar", then your Bookmarks Bar is already enabled.

Step Two: Install the Scholar Bookmarklet in your Bookmarks Bar

• Right click one of the Bookmarklet links above, drag it to your Bookmarks Bar, and drop it there.
  • You can choose either of the two versions of the bookmarklet. One version opens the Add Bookmark form in a pop-up window. The second version opens the Add Bookmark form in the current window (useful if you have pop-up blocking enabled).
• When prompted for a name, you can rename it or leave the default name.
